Catholics for Choice Statement from Board Chair Erin Matson on Leadership Transition

WASHINGTON — Catholics for Choice, which uplifts and amplifies the voices of the majority of Catholics who believe in reproductive freedom, issued the following statement from Erin Matson, Chair of the Board of Directors, on a leadership transition:

“Chris Wimbush has been appointed by the Board of Directors to serve as Interim President of Catholics for Choice as the Board of Directors begins to initiate its formal executive search process for the permanent position of President. From his previous role as Chief Operating Officer to his current role as Interim President, Chris has provided expert, steady, values-focused servant leadership to our capable team, and in service of the majority of Catholics who identify as pro-choice. The work of Catholics for Choice is more important than ever, and we are grateful to have Chris at the helm during this time of grave threats to access to reproductive healthcare.”
